NCB Now: Young people have their say at NCB

1 min read
On Monday 20 August, more than 20 young people spent the day at the National Children's Bureau to participate in a workshop designed to assess and improve the role children play within the organisation.

The children, aged 11 years and above, took part in two sessions followed by a visit from the Prime Minister's strategic unit.

During the first session, NCB chief executive Paul Ennals and the senior management team explained the current involvement and impact of children in NCB. This also gave them a chance to share NCB's priorities within the wider policy context of their work with the children.

"The day was a great success and provided valuable insight and useful ideas," said Janine Young, head of participation at NCB. "The young people were impressed to hear more about NCB.

"We welcome the opportunity to work with them as partners and support them where possible in the work they do in their communities."
