The Government invited 150 young people to attend to find out their views about the areas they live in. Alberta Bunbury, Kimberley Budd and Zara Grossett, together with Young Transnet development worker Anouska Barnes, asked a group of 25 young people about factors that affect their journeys and ways they could be improved.
Feedback from the group included calls for more police to stop people speeding and the need to make buses more accessible for wheelchair users.
"I really enjoyed facilitating the talkshop," said Kimberley.
The event was held as part of the delivering sustainable communities summit.
