NCB Now: Young NCB quizzes key media figures

Three Young NCB members challenged leading journalists on the media's portrayal of young people at a debate organised by the Royal Society for Arts, Manufacture and Commerce (RSA) on 6 July.

Irene Karapetyan, Seun Fajolu and Alberta Bunbury, who have all been trained as Young NCB media representatives, took part in the discussion, which examined the role of the media in society.

A panel of key industry figures, including David Seymour, Trinity Mirror group political editor, were asked whether the media's often-misleading portrayal of young people has led to a breakdown in trust, and what implications this could have for the industry's future.
