As a young person with a disability, my experience of using public transport has not been good. Getting on buses and sitting down can be hard and sometimes the driver does not let me sit down first before driving away. The worst thing is, that if I tell them, they very often don't seem to care.

For disabled people travelling on buses in London there is an external buzzer to access a ramp to get on the bus. However, not many drivers are sure why there is a buzzer sounding in the bus, which means that there have been times when I have not been able to board a bus, because the driver has not stopped.
