Guidelines for working with fathers

Children in Wales has been commissioned by the Welsh Assembly Government to produce guidelines for working with fathers in Flying Start Areas.

Flying Start is the Welsh Assembly Government's programme promoting high-quality early years services for nought to three-year-olds in disadvantaged areas. The guidelines are intended to support the practice of those working with fathers and other male carers.

Visits to projects are currently underway and a consultation on the first draft of the guidelines is due to be carried out during the spring.
