Lord Filkin unveiled the funding at a conference organised by NCB to celebrate the achievements of Healthy Care, a programme developed to achieve better outcomes for looked-after young people. The new programme will take this work forward.

Rachael Phillips, a young person who spoke at the event about her experiences of the programme commented: "Expressing myself through art was easier than talking about my feelings. There should be more of these opportunities available to looked-after young people."
