Life Routes has reached more than 29,000 young people since it began in 2000 within educational and community settings. The programme has also engaged more than 500 practitioners. Outcomes for the young people who have taken part include:
- 95 per cent demonstrated
increased levels of teamwork, problem-solving, decision-making andcommunication
- 98 per cent reported that Life Routes helped them take greaterresponsibility for what they do
- 70 per cent said they are working harder in school
- 90 per cent said Life Routes helped them become more active withintheir school or community
- 60 per cent reported that they are now volunteering more in thecommunity.
