My Life: Zac Osman, 20, London

1 min read Education Youth Work Participation
I first started the Fun and Friendship project in September 2009, but it wasn't until January 2010 that I received Children in Need funding for three years. The work I did during the project included a variety of media activities, such as video and film production, radio, music technology and animation.

I have learned to use software applications, and I also learned how to be a good leader among my peers and learned from everyone else within the group. Negotiation skills are another key skill I built on - I'm never afraid to ask questions and I have shown determination, especially during difficult times, to succeed in this project.

My favourite social activity with the friends I made is going to events and holidays including seeing a circus show at the Roundhouse and going on residential trips. My favourite moment was singing in karaoke in a pub near the hotel I stayed at for a weekend. Not only was I happy, but I was able to relax and enjoy myself a lot more.
