MY LIFE: Harriet Young, 10, Hull

1 min read
I was born in Scotland and moved to England, to Lonsbrough, when I was one-and-a-half years old. Lonsbrough is a quiet place with not very many people in it.

The village shared a donkey. We got to brush him, because we were the closest to him. When I was three and a half we moved again, to 10 miles outside Hull, which is where I am now.

In our village there is a pond that has turned green and all of the swans have flown away. There is also a general store called Mace and a primary school with 370 pupils in it. It is the best school that I can imagine.

The school has a field and a playground with a netball court and markings.

We have just had two new buildings added and are hoping to get a pond and a bench.
