My Life: Georgia Edwards, 10, north London

When I was two years old, my dad got a job in Australia so my mum and me went as well. We lived there for three-and-a-half years. So I was five when we came back to London.

It took 24 hours to get to London from Australia in the plane. We lived in Perth in a house with a swimming pool and every birthday I had a pool party. My school had a huge grassy playground with big trees shading the play area because it got really hot during the day.

I couldn't really remember being small in London, so Perth was my home.

When my family decided to move back to London, we were sad.

We got to England on a drizzly night but we couldn't go to our new house because there wasn't any furniture. For the first few days, things seemed strange because it was so different.
