My Life: Karim Menad, 10, London

I like to go out to play in my school holidays because staying home is boring. I like to go to school because I like to be clever and to respect everybody. I think the school is the best place for people to be clever and educated. I like my teacher and the school staff - they are very helpful.

And I like the coach supervisor. The only thing bothering me is that I am being bullied by the children - that's not fair.

My mum can't afford to take me out all the time, but Barnardo's organises lots of outings for us, like going to the cinema, the theatre, the seaside and parks. There are lots of other activities, including presents for some occasions.

I like Barnardo's the way they like us, God bless them.

I live in a two-bedroom flat with my mum and my sister. I like the place I live and the area. There is a big garden around the block, the neighbours are friendly, and I don't want to move anywhere else. I love the place, even though I am not sleeping in my bedroom at the moment because it is not suitable for my health. I am sleeping on the couch and it's not comfortable.
