Shocking, but not particularly surprising to parents of disabled children with complex health needs.
This latest review emphasises not only how a more holistic approach to the needs of children will give families a better experience, but how effective co-ordination of services can achieve real savings. We must not lose the opportunity to improve the delivery of health services for children and their families.

Time to develop potential
Rosie Chapman's letter rightly points out the benefit to charities of young people as trustees, but there is even more they can do (CYP Now, 21-27 September).
Young people are our greatest asset and business, government and the third sector needs to do more to challenge, support and develop their talent and skills, and help them feel part of our society.
