One of my proudest moments was winning the Science and ICT category at the Greater Manchester Student Awards.

I was presented with my trophy by Ben Thompson, who plays Ryan Connor in Coronation Street, and Noorul Choudhury from The Apprentice in front of hundreds of people, and now I get a week's work experience with Microsoft's Rare Games Studios.

The ceremony was really glitzy, and I was interviewed by TV and radio stations. I won the award because judges were impressed by a piece of anti-bullying software that I created to help students in my school access independent advice on bullying.

I like to give technical support at our school's productions, so the best thing about the night was speaking to the sound technician. I would also like to thank my teachers at Heywood Community High School for nominating me for the award.
