
But by October I was sitting in the director's chair in the far back of a cinema so I could see everyone's face. They were about to watch a film I had made and the feeling I got from that cannot be described in words.
I started as a trainee at City Gateway and I liked that you were learning without having previous knowledge of the subject. The tutors were so friendly it didn't seem like work - it felt like friends having fun. I did seven months of training and when the opportunity came along to join as a City Gateway apprentice I jumped at the chance. Four months into the apprenticeship, I made my own film and it has exploded ever since. Now I am doing what I have always wanted to.
