The first two days was the Children's Forum and the last three days was the UN General Assembly. The session was held to review the progress made and see what still needed to be developed to create a world fit for children. I spoke to the General Assembly on the state of children's rights and wellbeing in the UK.
There were 96 young people from 53 countries, each bringing with them different backgrounds and different problems facing young people. Teamwork was essential and we had to work together to ensure our voices were heard at the special session.
It was an amazing, once in a lifetime opportunity to speak to the world's leaders and all the country representatives and to have my voice heard. And it was amazing just to meet such great young people from around the world.
