Run by the children's charity NCH, the Children's Say is aGateshead-based project that helps four- to 14-year-olds make theirvoices heard.
Launched four years ago, the project runs various activities that givechildren a chance to tell adults what they think.
"The idea of the project is based around young people having theirvoices heard, listened to and acted on," says Sasha Blythe, participation worker at the project.
Recent activities include getting a group of 10- to 13-year-olds to puttogether five posters explaining what the five Every Child Mattersoutcomes mean to them. In the poster for the "enjoy and achieve"outcome, the children explained it as "we have good attendance at schooland enjoy it".
