Three years ago, several organisations in Bradford, including schools, the city's Early Years and Childcare Service and the Bradford South and West PCT, decided they had to do something to deal with the area's high teenage-pregnancy rate.
So they teamed up to start the Stepping Stones childcare training programme.
As well as aiming to reduce pregnancies by raising awareness of the needs of babies and young children, the project also set out to support the many teenagers who babysit for younger family members.
