A new generation of leaders is being developed in Grimsby by a pioneering playground project.
Over a period of 13 weeks, children are taught about all aspects of leadership, both good and bad.
Roy Saxby, activities manager for the local YMCA, goes into schools and uses a mixture of practical and theoretical work to show pupils how they can become leaders.
Children who want to take part in the scheme have to complete an application form and return it by a specified time, listing reasons why they think they would make a good playground buddy.
