Getting fathers involved is often one of the biggest challenges faced byfathering projects, and the Early Start Fathers Project in Little Ilfordand Plashet is no different. Co-ordinator David Beresford's answer tothis challenge is to do as much as possible to get the word out.
"When I'm not doing the dads' club itself, I go out to clinics, schools, pubs, betting shops and other places where dads could be," he says. "Idrop off literature, let them know about the project and, wherepossible, get them to sign up there and then."
