Jean Pardoe, chief executive of Connexions Nottinghamshire, said she was "thrilled and delighted" to be appointed OBE for services to young people and the careers service.
Ian Ferguson, chairman of the Learning and Skills Council's young people's learning committee and champion of the Entry to Employment scheme, was appointed CBE for services to education and training.
Meanwhile, George Anderson, chairman of Scotland's Children's Panel Chairman's Group, was appointed MBE for services to the children's hearing system in Scotland. A further 28 youth service representatives also received honours in the list.
