Help from Investing in Children

Developing ideas about the way children and young people are treated in society and concerning itself with children's and young people's human rights is what Investing in Children is all about.

It was started in 1995 by a group of senior public services' managers inCounty Durham to discuss and discover new ways to offer services tochildren, young people and their families. This is done by supportingthe children and young people to challenge and change situations.

The discussions mainly include children and young people being left outand not paying enough attention to what they had to say.

Other services offered include a report database for childminders, relevant news and findings, newsletters and projects on young people incommunities.
