Between 1998 and 2006, the teenage conception rate in Rutland fell by 18.4 per cent, compared with an average fall of 13.3 per cent across England. In Halton, the teenage conception rate increased only slightly by 1.9 per cent, while in Slough there was a significant drop of 35.4 per cent.
