LAMBETH - 79.7 conceptions per 1,000 girls aged between 15 and 17 in 2005 (41.1 in England)

STOKE-ON-TRENT - 67.7 conceptions per 1,000 girls aged 15 to 17 in 2005 (41.1 in England)

- Since 1998 the teenage concep- tion rate in Stoke-on-Trent has gone down by 1.1 per cent compared with a fall of 11.8 per cent across England. The teenage pregnancy rate in Lambeth has decreased by 6.6 per cent while in Kent it has gone down by 9.7 per cent.
