City and Hackney Primary Care Trust's director of health improvement and public health, David Sloan, says: "We have been doing research with City University, PCTs and acute trusts to find the risk factors and interventions for infant mortality. We also have a teenage pregnancy programme that involves schools, social services, youth services and primary care."
