A spokeswoman from Blackburn with Darwen PCT said it was implementing the teenage pregnancy strategy to help young people make informed choices about sex and relationships and to increase their confidence to resist peer pressure. Projects included virtual baby courses, training to help carers understand the sexual health issues of looked-after young people, a Brook education and outreach project, and development of sex and relationship education in schools.
