Since figures on the teenage pregnancy strategy were first collected in1998, the conception rate in Bracknell Forest has dropped by 30.7 percent. This represents 16 fewer girls conceiving, with figures fallingfrom 88 in 1998 to 72 in 2004. However the most significant change inthe figures occurred before the strategy was launched, between 1998 and1999. During this period, the figures fell from 45.5 to 34.5, beforecontinuing to fall to the current level of 31.5.
