Jane Hutt, minister for health and social services, and Jane Davidson, minister for education and lifelong learning, are due to tell delegates at Autism Cymru's first conference in Cardiff what they could expect from the All-Wales Strategy.
Hugh Morgan, chief executive of Autism Cymru and chair of the group developing the strategy, said he could not predict what the Welsh Assembly would agree to.
But the main priority was "a formal national training strategy for autism with minimum standards".
