NCB: News from Wales

The National Child Poverty conference, which will take place in Cardiff on 27 May, will provide the first opportunity for key stakeholders to debate the opportunities and challenges on taking action to reduce child poverty in Wales.

The conference, which is being delivered by Children In Wales, the Welsh Local Government Association and Save the Children, with the support of End Child Poverty Cymru and the Welsh Assembly Government.

Delegates will be provided with the opportunity for early consultation on the Assembly Government's child poverty strategy, to share the learning from Phase 1 of Child Poverty Solutions Wales, and to inform the development of Phase 2, and to shape the work programme of the End Child Poverty Network.
