The Child Accident Prevention Practice and Information Exchange (Chappie) Network, is holding its first annual conference in Cardiff on 4 June. The conference will look at the findings of the European Child Safety Alliance, Unicef and the World Health Organisation report card for Wales, which is launched on 6 May.
The conference will consider how child accident prevention can be moved forward at both a local and national level. Delegates will learn about effective evidence-based interventions from experts and gain a greater understanding of the accident problem in Wales and Europe.
The Chappie Network is co-ordinated by Children in Wales to support practitioners with a role to play in injury reduction.
