Children in Wales has recently become an active member of the European Child Safety Alliance, which focuses on strategies aimed at bringing about a reduction in accident-related deaths and disability among children aged from birth to 18.
Its work includes advocating for consistent standards, policies and legislation throughout Europe on all issues impacting child safety. It also works to ensure that European consumers are sufficiently informed. As a member, Children in Wales is responsible for promoting European, evidence-based good practice concerning injury prevention.
