A manifesto towards eradicating poverty.
The End Child Poverty Network Cymru (ECPN), a coalition focused on the eradication of child poverty in Wales, published a manifesto on 24 November ahead of the National Assembly Elections in May 2011. The manifesto outlines the key priorities for action for the next Assembly Government in Wales.
The Welsh Assembly Government has already introduced legislation imposing a duty on itself and public bodies in relation tackling to child poverty and has published a draft child poverty strategy and delivery plan.
ECPN Cymru is co-ordinated and managed on a day-to-day basis by Children in Wales. The Manifesto can be downloaded from the End Child Poverty Network website, at www.endchildpovertycymru.org.uk
