The Disabled Children Matter Wales Campaign has produced a manifesto Putting Disabled Children First, which highlights critical and current issues for disabled children and calls on the next Welsh Government to deliver on its commitment to put disabled children and young people first. The manifesto has been sent to all the political parties in Wales ahead of elections to the National Assembly for Wales next year, with the request that disabled children are made a priority in each party's manifesto.
The manifesto highlights five main issues, the implementation of policy, legislation to standardise services, transition to adulthood, the provision of quality services and child poverty.
