More than 70,000 has been awarded to the Let's Play project inBanbury.
"We want to ensure our young people have the same opportunities asothers in Banbury," said manager Sarah Willis.
Meanwhile an art gallery in Brixton, London, is to get 120,000for an arts project for young people aged 13 to 19 to explore issuessuch as bullying and gang culture. And in the West Midlands, 150,000 will go towards a mobile centre taking sports and recreationactivities to young people living in isolated and deprived areas in andaround Shrewsbury.
The Young People's Fund will distribute 40m over the next twoyears to groups working with young people in England. A further 10m is available for grants from individuals with 27.6m going tonational organisations for larger projects.
