Thousands of pounds in cash are up for grabs for organisations including charities, community groups, schools and colleges that provide on-the-job training and work placements to 14- to 25-year-olds.
A total of 460,000 is available through awards for employers launched this week by new practical learning charity Edge.
Cash prizes of up to 10,000 will go to winners in nine regions of England, with four organisations going on to win national awards. Prizes of 25,000 will go to two exemplary small organisations, with 50,000 for the best medium-sized organisation and 200,000 for one large organisation.
Cash must be reinvested back into training schemes, apprenticeships or work placements.
