
I was lucky enough to win the opportunity to go for a two-day programme at one of the most successful investment banks, Lehman Brothers.
I got a real insight into how investment banking works, and undertook many tasks involving teamwork, which tested my business knowledge. The highlight of the visit was going to a morning equity meeting, which was exciting as it featured breaking news on stock market figures.
Lehman Brothers was the most exciting opportunity I've had. Seeing how such a large investment bank operates and the different job roles, such as capital markets and investment management, was an experience that will always live with me. Banking is what I want to do, as I want a challenging job, where I do something different each day.
