Young Sense, funded by the Department for Education and Skills' National Voluntary Youth Organisation grant scheme, will set up a support network for 13- to 25-year-olds who may be deaf, visually impaired or have multi-sensory disabilities.
The project will engage young people through email, support groups and residential weekends. It will enable them to put their views to service providers, learn skills and make friends.
Sense estimates 23,000 young people in the UK are deafblind.
