CONNEXIONS: Users best placed to promote the service

1 min read

Issues raised in the report include the need to tackle lack of awareness of the service among young people, the need to target "hard-to-reach" young people, and the necessity of more meaningful ways of involving them in terms of strategy and priority-setting.

This will include: helping to prepare for Ofsted inspections; developing a series of guides on quality management aimed at young people; a new set of guidelines to be launched at the end of the year on how to reach "hard-to-reach" young people; supporting youth engagement workers in developing regional networks; and developing the Youth Involvement Observatory, an online database of good practice.
