Connexions: Connexions Direct users are satisfied

The survey, carried out by TNS Social Research between February 17 and March 16, asked 916 people who had called Connexions Direct to rate the service.

Eight in 10 of those surveyed were contacting the service for the first time and just over half were adults, usually calling on behalf of a young person. Eighty-nine per cent were satisfied with services.

Separately, the National Audit Office is investigating how Connexions Direct handles calls from young people with complex needs. The office is investigating the service after hearing concerns about how it is run (YPN, 12-18 July, p2).
