How do you combine sport and youth work? We provide a structured system of learning. We try to take advantage of the unique voluntary relationship that exists between youth workers and young people. We try to develop relationships with young people and measure the distance travelled, working towards the five outcomes in Every Child Matters. We use sport as a vehicle for youth work and hopefully that way, young people learn much more.

How do you accredit young people's participation in sport? There are various ways: Worcestershire County Council's own youth award, the Community and Junior Sports Leaders Award, and The Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
