I also get involved with the finals of other activities. Essentially, it's an event management and organisational role. I also co-ordinate and develop young men's work, working with an advisory group to set up resources and events with club leaders, volunteers and NACYP staff.

What do you do? I facilitate and co-ordinate two or three projects throughout the country. One is the On the Ball project, which is a resource pack of activity cards for use in clubs and voluntary organisations. My job is to bring partners together in different areas.

What's a typical week? Two days in the office, then three on the road at events: making contacts, setting up arrangements, doing courses and going to meetings. We have a lot of volunteers and I tend to go and see them, which means working evenings and weekends to fit in around them.
