What do you do? My role involves project managing for six charities, from planning, implementing and reviewing a project to being the first point of contact for not-for-profit organisations. I also work as a mentor for young people at Fairbridge, and find ways to improve our support.
What's a typical day? I don't have a typical day as my work is eclectic. I often have to react quickly to ad hoc situations and crisis appeals such as the war. A lot of time is spent project managing, organising events and attending meetings.
Who is in your meetings? I meet heads of fundraising, new-media managers, centre managers and organisations such as the youth services through charities.
