What's a typical day like? My day consists of going out in the morning to meet volunteers. I find out what they've been up to and then, in the afternoon, I often go to one of the activities we're working on.

How did you get the job? My background is in sporting activities. I'm lucky because I've always had the chance to be involved in sport. Before joining the project, I was a fitness instructor and a wrestling coach. I was also a football coach.

What do you like about the job? When we get young people referred to us and can follow their progress from the referral to getting a qualification from the work we've done. I like engaging with new communities where there is nothing available and helping to get activities started there. I also enjoy it when our volunteers get recognition for their work.
