How did you get into this line of work?

I had been involved, through our local church, in working on the Raffles Estate in Carlisle for several years in a voluntary capacity. I'd reached a point in my life when a change of direction was not only needed but something that I desired. So I made a decision to enter the ministry and joined forces with a friend, Kath Queen, and together we formed the Living Well Trust in 1998.

What is hardest part of your job? The work can be particularly demanding and protecting staff and myself from compassion fatigue is a high priority.
