But when your high school shuts down when you're about to do your GCSEs, what can you do?
That's what happened to me in Year 10. There were 16 people in the class at my old school but, when it closed, I had to move to a class of 30 pupils. I got split up from my friends and my best mate ended up at another school.
I wish those who decided to shut the school had thought about us before they did it. I didn't do well in the end and spent a year unemployed. It was horrible.
Luckily, I was eventually referred to Rathbone, who put me on a foundation course in childcare. I'm very practical and one thing I have always enjoyed and wanted to do was look after children. Now, I'm just waiting for my criminal records bureau check and then I'm going to start work in a nursery.
