The clip, which was part of a series of ads shot in the style of a 50s US road movie, was seen to condone teenage pregnancy. It depicted an outcast called the Cactus Kid running away with his young pregnant girlfriend.
In the scene where the girl gives birth to her baby, viewers argued the girlfriend looked under the age of 16. Coca-Cola, the mother company of Oasis, contested the complaints: it asserted the actress playing the girl was in fact 22 years old.
But the ASA concluded the woman's pregnancy was "offensive and inappropriate". Despite the actress's age, she appeared to look much younger, it said.
