DM Thomas Foundation for Young People was established in 2000 as the Hilton in the Community Foundation. It changed its name in 2015 in honour of founding trustee, Dame Maureen Thomas. The foundation’s central grants programme funds a range of programmes to help young people “Achieve It, Beat It and Experience It”.
The main priority of the foundation is to target grants at grassroots community groups and charities that provide opportunities to improve the wellbeing of children and young people with disabilities or long-term health conditions.
