Hackney appoints agency to promote youth services

The London Borough of Hackney has appointed a marketing agency to encourage young people to get involved in youth clubs, sports and the arts.

Agency I Wonder If will work with Hackney to develop a three-year marketing strategy, and will involve local young people in developing the campaign.

Gerald Eastwood, managing director of I Wonder If, said:  "The timescale of this project stretches to the London Olympics in 2012 where a third of the games area will be hosted in Hackney."

He added: "Who is better placed to develop compelling propositions for the youth of Hackney, than the youth of Hackney themselves?"
