Unicef UK appoints youth advisers

Unicef UK has appointed two young people as youth advisers to its board of trustees.

Emily Middleton, 19, and Hannah Coakley,18, will be the organisation's first youth advisers. They will attend board meetings and provide guidance on strategy.

David Stanton, chair of Unicef UK's board of trustees, said: "As an organisation that leads on children's rights, this is an important and necessary development. It reflects our commitment to listening and responding to the experience, ideas and views of young people."
