Grant funding a range of projects including community facilities that offer opportunities for recreation, sporting achievement, lifelong learning and community involvement

Funding Main grants are generally up to £50,000, small grants are between £250 and £5,000, and 10 per cent of costs will need to be found from an independent third party. A small grants scheme allows quick access to smaller amounts that can make an impact on quality of life through wildlife conservation measures, access to informal learning opportunities or access to sport and recreation.

Funder This initiative uses tax credits from the landfill tax scheme. Biffa Waste Services donates money for the programme to the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts to support environmental projects.

Aim It operates several grant schemes, the most significant of which for the children and youth sector is the "amenity" strand of the main scheme and the small grants scheme. The amenity strand will fund community facilities that offer opportunities for recreation, sporting achievement, lifelong learning and community involvement.
