Funding to help charitable organisations offer key support services for children, young people and their parents across London

Funding Since 1992 the charity has distributed some £30m at an average of £17,000 per grant to a range of services for young people. Small grants of up to £5,000 are available, and there is no limit on grants available from the main grants programme.

Funder John Lyon was a yeoman farmer from the village of Preston in Harrow and the founder of Harrow School in 1572. John Lyon's Charity is part of the Harrow Foundation. The charity's main policy is to enhance the conditions of life of young people through education.

Aim To enhance the conditions of life and improve the life-chances of young people through education.
